That would be sweet. Maybe a retractable hardtop?
The windscreen looks a lot more rakish than the current MINI.

that is very close to some computer generated versions of the roadster...too bad it didn't come to fruitation and was dropped in favor of the 2004 convertible model which in my opinion looks much worse then this these designs..but it was an obvious cost saving measure as it keeps the most parts common between the models.

I guess I'm a dissenting opinion here, but that thing is ugly! Way too stubby to look like a nice roadster. If that's what they got, I'd say--please--leave the top on!!!

Isn't that what makes the MINI look so good? It's expected to be stubby. It looks so powerful.
