All sounds good apart from a "new shade" of metallic black! Are there any new solid colours? I had thought the pictures showing the convertible in orange looked solid but obviously not.

I sure you will but please let us know when you know for sure when the facelifted version goes on sale and also when new brochures will be available from dealers.

There's the new engines coming up, someone will start speccing one...

Anyway, thoughts on whether the new colors will be available at launch (Being an Indi fan, the new S blue sounds intriguing) or if it will be one of MINIs more usual slow phase-in of colors?

And btw, for clarity and the Americans on the site perhaps 'hood' isn't the best word to use to describe the convertible top? Too much bonnet/hood confusion as it is...
