Convertible Owners Thread.

So fellow MINI2ers, we know that the first CON owners will be getting the cars by the 1st week in July, there is not a lot of us,(Soon will be.) what are you planning. I am hoping to have that week off to drive everywhere and beyond, (will also help get the running in out of the way.) I know there was going to be a Lands end to John Ogroats but think i may be to late. So what are YOU planning? Im in the East London/Essex area. All ideas WELCOME. P.S. did you manage to get any extras thrown in for FREE.

well... i have been told that i SHOULD get my ONE convertible in the second week of July (but not holding my breath just yet!!)
I got absolutely nothing thrown in for free!!!... cheap skates!!
we are planning to take the day (and following day!) off work... providing we collect the car mid week... and don't really know where will go... probably do a tour of all friends n relatives one evening... to show her off!!!
We are in Preston, Lancs... so may go to Southport n have a drive along the sea front (Providing it aint raining cos i def dont want sandy rain water all over her!)
erm... well think i'm waffling on way too much... not really answered your question have I??!!! Sorry!... think ur best driving where ever the wind (and hopefully sun!) takes you !!
