Chrome Roll Bars

Do the roll bars come in chrome as standard? I may be mistaken, but I think Paul mentioned that they were available in black or chrome (!?). I have already specced my convertible, and phoned to double check this with my dealer today. They phoned BMW to clarfiy, but no one could do so. They even suggested that chrome may be exclusive to the forthcoming S! As all the publicity shots show chrome roll bars, I find this exremely hard to believe. Can anyone clarify; is it available as standard, or part of the interior/exterior chrome packs?

Chrome bars come as part of the "chrome exterior pack", £170/£110 for the one/cooper and as such are included as part of the pepper and chilli packs (see options thread). Paul thought they looked and felt (in particular) quit plasticy-I think they look good, at least in all the photos.Still looking for cooper s specs!

It's included in the chrome line exterior package which is £170 for Mini One and £100 for Cooper.

The chrome line exterior package is included in the Pepper and Chili packages.

According to many german articles I read the last days the Cooper S convertible will always come with chrome roll bars as standard
