Door panels are still Dark Blue and I can confirm that the Body Colour interior looks really good! I had the chance to drive the Cooper yesterday and it's so similar to the Rigid Bodied Hatch. Oh, and if you thought people looked at you when driving a Hatch back MINI, get ready for some serious attention!!! And for the record, it's "Panther" Black...

Great...how was the driving ...some piccys ;-) i´m a bit confused by your reply... are the Door Panels Phanter Black or Dark Blue with the Black Octagon Seats and Cool Blue Interior. Cause i love the Cool Blue Interior but i don´t like the DarkBlue Door Panels around the Cool Blue Armrest ring because they don´t match the rest of the Car´s interior.

Sorry, I mis-read your original post! With the PANTHER (Not PHANTER) Black interior, the DOOR PANELS will always be BLACK. One thing I didn't spot on your "Spec" is Air Conditioning. Really needs to have this if you want to make the most of Residual values...

upps i write very fast and i´m German so there are lots of faults in my spelling .... Good to hear that i get Panther Black Door Panels thats what i wanted...i going to call my Dealer to change my Spec from Alloy Patina to Cool Blue Interior. Air Conditioning is included in the Chillipack in Germany so i got it all ![]() did you make some Pictures of your Testcar ...i´d love to see some´

Good thread, I was asking this question the other day, as I saw the cab in cool blue, with cool blue interior, but with the new leather that has the orange leather stitch detail, anyway this had the dark blue door skins and really looked odd against the top of the dash that remains black.
| ||||
The Body Color interior trim refers to the dash and door bezels (not panels). Some examples from NEWS: Full MINI Convertible Launch Report from Geneva: The "odd" look of non-black door panels against the black dash top is even more pronounced with lighter colors like beige:

@Rakey: we´ve got the same detailed look at things @MINIAC: i know...we´re talking about the Door skin that is Dark Blue according to the Dark Blue Leather Seats as you can see on your Picture with Cool Blue Interior where you can also see that it don´t matches the top of the Dash whitch is Phanter Black...so i´m happy that i can get the Cool Blue Door Bretzels with Phanter Black Door Skin according to the Phanter Black Octagon Leather Cloth Seats i´ve ordered.
