Anyone ordered Exterior Chrome Pack on MCS Convertible? - MINI Cooper Forum

I was told at the Motor Show that the Exterior Chrome Package on a Cooper S Convertible included front grill, wing mirrors, boot lid and boot hinges. Is this correct or do you have to order chrome wing mirrors separately ? I'm hearing/seeing conflicting reports all of the time about this...

I've just looked on the dealers Option Price guide and the chrome mirrors are sepearte to the exterior chrome pack. They cost £50.

But beware, as the chrome mirrors come with the chrome boot hinges, which arent to everyone's taste!

I hate the idea of making a point of thise hinges, I know it's in keeping with the original mini, but shouldnt exactly be a feature IMHO!

As they are called chrome caps - presumably they could be taken off the hinges?

I've had my question answered by Dinger in a private message thanks... I'm happy with chrome boot hinges as I want my car to have as much bling as possible!!
