Any questions left unanswered, please let me know and I'll fill in the blanks.

Got more roadtrip photos too, some crappy, some not so crappy. Will eventually put those up too!

Excellent reviews Paul. And, looks like it was an interesting trip too.

The trip was amazing. I'd love to visit Spain again, and Paris was wonderful, better than I expected.

Parked in a fantastic underground secure car park, like something from a gangster movie, you wouldn't believe how many fast and expensive cars you could find in one place under the streets of Paris!!

Very nice, Paul.
Thanks for sharing this experience with us.

Could you be more exact about the itinerary? (better, if you have a map...)
I'm curious...

Ciao.

M.

Good reports Paul...just out of curiosity, when you say 'we'...are you with your family, another journalist, or a MINI rep?

Thanks again for putting yourself through this torturous ordeal and now an 'S' test in August...you are my hero.

Co-driver = Abi.

Maps etc, I can find notes and post how far/where we travelled. Started a map but it looked pretty poor!

Ah, the lucky man! That was great little report. I noticed that city traffic is much easier with the top down in every convertible I've driven; they don't seem to be designed with a lot of thought in this direction. You must have been the center of attention in more than a few places, I would think. Did the top seal well - no leaks and wind noises? Did you do any of the twisties with the top up? Anyway, glad you had fun!

Roof was good (you'd have heard about it if it wasn't) it's dark with the roof up, but you actually get used to that very quickly.

Sunroof is almost entirely useless. We found if you put the roof anywhere between sunroof open and closed (infinately adjustable they say) it squeeked and rattled. We did use the roof a couple of times in the city, but not that much at all. It's very noisy at speed (the sunroof) as there's no deflector.

I bet you can't wait for the S review in late August, I bet that will put a on your face.

Don't suppose you drop in on my wedding day (the 27th) and take me for a spin. I'm sure my Missus won't mind (like heck!).
