Question Chrome interior?

Hi all new to the forum and looking for some advice please.
My wife has a new mini cooper conv due sometime mid-late Sept. We have just put down our spec for the car but wondering how many of you have gone for the 'Chrome inerior' (where the vents, etc are ringed with chrome), is it a must have?

Also our spec is as follows:
Cooper,
Cool blue/blue hood,
Full leather in blue/orange stitching,
ASC+T,
Multi-func wheel,
Heated mirrors/jets,
Visability pack,
Wind deflector,
Heated seats,
Xenons,
Auto air con,
Sat Nav,
Single C.D,
Chilli pack,
18" J.Cooper wheels,
White bonnet stripes,
TLC.

Pretty extensive I know but probably last chance before kids come along. Is there anything that would be beneficial to add to this?
Cheers all.

I'm not so keen on too much chrome - it's a bit Gangsta Rap Star for me but the Chrome Line Interior really suits the Mini. It was my final spec change addition.

Chromeline interior is new as a factory install, but all who have seen it seem to believe it is awesome. The pictures i have seen of it definitely shows it to dress up the interior. I definitely considered it a must have feature and ordered it on my 05 MCS which I will pick up this coming Saturday.

Really happy that I went with the Chrome interior, I think it looks better with either a body coloured dash or Patina. I'm not sure if the contrast will look as good with silver.

Cheers, Peter

I totally agree, I really feel it lifts the interior to a much higher standard. That said, it probably wont suit every colour scheme. I have an interior pic in my gallery, please feel free to take a look.

Really suits every Colour Scheme....saw one with Silver, Anthrazide, Aloy Patina, Body Colour and i think Wooden Trim will look good too with the Chrome Interior.

It looks best with Antrazide, Silver or Body Colour imho

Get it.....then you marked all Options i think

I've got it on my Cool Blue Cooper and think it looks fantastic. I opted for the anthracite dash, and as it is quite dark it really makes the chrome stand out. The only problem now is that I want to buy more chrome bits............

Do you have to wear shades?

I like the look of the Chrome Line interior as well..but...in an open car could there be a sun glare problem?

Only thing missing is chrome rings for the rear speakers, I find them looking kinda cheap especially with the front looking premium, and very visible too in a convertible

Agree need more chrome not less!
HK speakers look slightly better than non HK-but I still want chrome
DSC is quite good
Get the air bag key switch if you or your next buyer has/ wants kids (£30)
The essential extra (if you are spending that much money) is of course a supercharger
For some reason BMW have not let reviewers review the "S", when they do everyone will want one.

This: (see below)
Described as "airbag disconnection" but in fact is keyed deactivation of the front passenger airbag when carrying a rear facing child seat.

Thanks, So do I need to specify this and if so at what cost?
Also, is it available to add at a later date?
