Cult?

Reasons for my purchase of the MCSC was because of the driving thrills that it offers and because it is rare here in the USA, I wanted something different than the average Joe. I didn't realize how this auto effects owners to the point of being obsessed. Like giving their auto a name and such... this is quite refreshing and interesting to see all this attachment to their Mini. Now I'm in a deli ma of finding a name for my up coming MCSC.

Don't worry, and welcome to mini2.com! You are right, when you buy a new MINI, you are not just buying another car, you are joining one of the best global clubs there is!

Maybe not quite so exclusive these days - there are now 500,000 new MINIs out there!

Not here much any more

Indeed naming is common!!

My girlfriends MINI One has a registration ending EWO.... hence his name has become 'Eeewoe'.... kinda cute

Couldn't really think of a name for my MCC, but I always thought that when she is sat on the drive, she is always trying to lure me out for a drive! Hence, we have started calling her 'The Temptress'!

Have fun with yours!!!!!!

Jon

Pretty neat way of coming up with a name. 'The Temptress', is good, too. Your lucky to have it in the drive. All I can do is play the waiting game.... its tough.

My MINI ONE is named Jezz wich is actually short for Jezzabel, cos my wife said she was taking all of my time and affection. She has told friends that she's happy to come a close second though so you can't say fairer than that.

I get in trouble for talking so much about Tony.
My fiance has (finally) come to terms with me having two men in my life and is slowly getting used to the idea that Tony's one of the family. He doesn't seem to mind to terribly much as long as I make it a point to let him borrow my zaino for his car.

It's pretty amazing how something that most people think is "just a car" turns into so much more. Mini's have personalities and sexes and will tell you their names. It's so different than any other kind of car out there.

My new Cooper Cabrio has been christened MINERVA by the family - it's supposed to be a cross between MINI and NIRVANA, also an ancient goddess of creativity or something like that.....

I checked out your MINERVA in your photo gallery and it looks awesome. Really nice auto.

Many thanks Larry

I have to say, I have NEVER been so happy with any car I've owned before. As far as I am concerned, she was worth every cent, and the 880 days wait!

All the best

Ian
