Mini Delivery Pack

To those who are lucky enough to have collected their new Minis what do I get for the £342 listed on my Vehicle Contract under "Mini Delivery Pack"?

Sounds like a lot of petrol money to transport my new MCSC from Oxford to Devon! Are us the consumers being fleeced or am I missing something? Don't suppose this item is up for negotiation with Mr BMW, in fact nothing on the Contract seems to be or has anyone been successful in shaving a few pounds off the bill?

Can't remember my invoice (think I have blotted it from my memory) - could the road tax be in there?

Our £342 was just as delivery. The car was built in Oxford and delivered to Swindon - less than 30 miles away. The stealer also tried to charge us £50 for a tank of petrol and a "top up" litre of oil. I declined that kind offer and convinced them to fill the petrol tank and deliver it to my home on a lorry.
That's all I managed to negotiate though.

The Delivery Pack does NOT include first registration fee, Road tax or fuel....

This charge is basically factory to dealer and perparation.....

I got my dealer to throw in the fuel (normally £32) and TLC (£100) for free.... but that was it...

Remember.... if you don't ask... you dont get!!

You're forgetting the detour via Thorne in Doncaster after leaving Oxford.

Bloomin' 'eck. I didn't realise that they were so pleased with the build quality they took it on a lap of nounour!

Does that mean the transporters full of Mini's (presumably being shipped overseas) heading south on the A34 have got to Newbury via Donnie?

It's only the cars for sale here that go to Thorne before being sent onto their respective dealers. I'm sure export cars go straight to their respective docks.
