Smile Update

Forgive me forum for i have sinned

It has been 2 weeks since my last post.

So anyway, last time i posted my comfort opening opened during the night and got soaked inside.

Two days later it went into Specialist Cars in Luton for a diagnostic check so that they could fix the ever problem stereo and lights on the manual a/c unit.

So i told them about the roof and the wetness. They said if its a warranty issue we'll dry it out. My reply to them was simple "i'm not picking it up until its dry", to which they responded well give you a ring later and let you know what we find.

So it got to the following day around lunchtime and the phone went. Hello sir your car is now ready for collection. It is nice and dry, we have replaced the a/c head unit and have ordered you a new stereo. We have also turned off your comfort opening, if the roof still opens then it will have to have is computer re-installed (or something like that).

So all in all very good.

After roughly 30 minutes it starts skipping and reading the cd like mad. I think its due to it getting hot. The only solution i have found is to turn the unit off or switch to radio for 10 minutes.

They diagnostic told them it was faulty and they are going to replace it. As soon as they can get one from Germany.
