As I've watched other mini2er's get amped up about taking posession of thier cars....Well it's my turn now. My S cab is being built this week and will be loaded on the ship soon for transport across the pond. I'm hoping to take delivery about mid-April. I was fine for a few months. Now the anticiaption is starting to get to me.

I went for another test drive to get my "fix" but they didn't have a maunal vert available So I tested the automatic "S" convertible. For an auto, I guess it was okay but I though the steptronic shifting was awkward at best

Just my 2c though.

If I can just make in another 4 weeks...

You have no idea how bad it is going to get yet. It has only just begun for you. My MCSc is at the VDC and will hopefully be delivered in time for me to pick up on Saturday. I am going crazy. It would help a lot if I just knew it would be there. Then I could plan for it. But if it does not make it I'll have to wait for the following Saturday. No, not another week! Ugh!!!

my how things have changed, when i went for my two testdrives back in november and december, they told me there werent any automatic convertibles available anywhere

now theres no manuals?! MADNESS i say!

I put my car up for sale...to give myself some time to sell it...and it looks like I'm going to sell it this weekend Way early - Now I get to borrow a friends Miata until my car arrives in Mid April

At least I'll get some topless practice

I am in the same boat as you!!

I went to the dealer Saturday to see what they would give me for my leased Tacoma. His wholesaler had someone looking my exact truck, needed to sell it now. I actually came out ahead on it!

Ended up ordering a MCS black on black, 6 speedLSD. (couldn't believe the wife went along with it!) My delivery date is mid May. I have 3 friends I am going to mooch a car from over the next 9 weeks.

Looks loke the Miata may not be available after all So now I'm going to rent a cheap 2002 Ford Escort. Talk about a car that blows Hopefully there will be no delays in delivery
