I cannot find my reciept from when i bought my car. I got my MCC in july 04 and am quite sure i paid £100 extra for the ALARM, which dealer is telling me was standard,(which is now.) I need to know because my deaership has printed off my spec (not reciept)and it does not show it. I need to know how much i spent pound notes, THANKS

According to the July 2004 brochure, (the earliest ive got), the remote Thatcham CAT1 alarm is in included in the price

Mine is a May 04 build, I have an alarm but didn't pay extra for it!! So yes it was standard!

Your lucky! In the US they charge 650+ dollars for the alarm.

No Kidding!!!! Is that the price for the tin top or the 'vert? I thought I remember being quoted more for the 'vert alarm. I ended up paying the price for the tin top version though.

And they did not even have them at first (started coming in Jan '05).

Thanks for your replies. It must have been a mix up between the combination of our US friends not getting the alarm as standard and the ASC+T which was £100. Shows how wrong I WAS
