Australia Colour Combo

What does everybody think about DS/W or DS/B with Cordoba Beige leather interior?

Is it a bit much? I thought that the beige looked great with Black or BRG and now I'm thinking about DS.

Damn option list !!

IMHO that doesn't work very well on DS. I'm ordering this weekend; I'll either go HB/W or DS/W. What does look awesome on DS/W (again, it's only my opinion) is the Blue Lapis interior.

Yeah, I thought about the beige too, but in the end I went with black-(my wife was not really a fan of the beige), but I have to say that I cannot imagine it looking too crash-hot in any other body color than BRG.
I considered DS as a body color too, until I saw one at the dealer on an overcast day...

So, have you struck a deal with any dealer yet? Who did you decide on?

See Ya

Nah,I got nuthin.................

Look at my gallery...

It looks different and nice....but the leather hasn't fared well...it's stretched and has gotten a bit dirty...

It also restricts you for modding....if I had normal colours...I would have dropped $$$ on bucket seats by now I reckon...

If you do go cordoba, I reccomend getting rubber mats.....because those mats get pretty dirty, I shudder to think what the cordoba mats would look like after a while...

I can take some more photo's of it if you like....
I'll take some photo's of how the seats have fared as well, to give you an idea...

Yeah... I think that the Beige is a great colour but after some day to day use I imagine it would be pretty hard to keep clean... especially the floor carpet in the winter months.

Go HB/W as at least then it is close the the Italian Job Mini's. I looked at DS/B but found there were too many, however, it is a nice combo as alternative. BRG/W or BRG/B are also very good, so is BEP/W.Overall, I love the HB/W combo and with union jack it is a excellent colour match.
Stay away from Beuge interior, the Lapis goes well with the HB/W.

DS is common...but that's because it's GOOD!

However, if I were speccing a new mini it would be HB.

Probbably HB/HB.
Aerokit
colour coded (incl. grille)
Anthrecite R99's.
Driving lights
half leather interior (normal black)
body coloured dash
satnav
DSC
LSD
sunroof
chrome mirror caps
and chilli pack...

hmmm....fantasies...they didn't have HB when I was speccing my car...

I'll take photos of the interior tomorrow for you...

Don't see as many DS/DS cars getting around and one of those with some nice custom stripes would look haaaaaaaawt.

Thanks for your thoughts guys.

Sorry I've taken so long to reply but my laptop crashed

I've had to buy a new one until the spare parts come from o/s and of course I haven't done a back up have I !!! Doh!

I love technology BUT doesn't it annoy you when something goes horribly wrong. I lost all my fav pics of Minis so now I'm up and running I thought I'd get some replacement pics.
I got a terrible shock logging on here coz I didn't know anything about the upgrade to the site.

No gallery!!

Anyway, back to business. I get the feeling that the Cordoba won't stand up very well. Guess Black is the way to go. Does anybody else think Panther Black a strange name for a colour that looks very much like grey?

Still haven't struck any deals yet. Need to firm up a spec first !

Love to see some pics of the interior Tit, thanks.

My dealer had a CR/CR MCS with beige interior, looked very Italian.

Was quite nice apart from the red on the bonnet scoop didn't match the rest of the car!

I think the beige with DS would look lovely. Is there not a DS convertible with beige leather on the JCW website showing the interior stuff?

I had a DS/W with panther black, I would have taken either cordoba or more likely lapis blue over panther black. Black is just boring on a MINI. Lapis blue has got to be the best though for a DS/W.

, I've always thought that it was odd...perhaps they modeled it from a photo of an old panther...
