Chilli Pack or not

Hi everyone,

I'm about to buy a Cooper S October 2003. Its supposed to have a Chilli Pack - but what exactly should that include on a 2003 car. I should mention I'm in the UK, don't know if that makes a difference.

I got the 2005 Chilli spec from the Mini main site but I need to know if it was the same on a 2003 car.

Is there a sure way to tell that the car is a true Chilli Pack model? If I get the VIN will BMW be able to tell me?

Sorry for all the questions but my heads in a spin trying to figure it out before I part with the cash.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have an Aug 03 MCS with chilli, should have manual air con, s spoke alloys, xenon lamps and washers, half leather seats plus some other stuff.

If it has these chances are it has the chilli pack!

Hope this helps! Can't remember myself all that is in chilli pack!

Thanks for the reply. Couldn't get back to you sooner with the site being down.
I've found out that BMW can confirm if it's a Chilli Pack from the VIN number, even they say it's hard to tell otherwise.
