First Aussie Cooper S???

I think I will be the first Aussie Cooper S on this forum. Alright, so I am jumping the gun a little. Still have 24hours before I take delivery of the car. Can't wait!!! Have had lots of wheel saga leading up to it. To sum it all up, I am now stuck with a set of white x-lites until I find a set of after market wheels that suits my needs. I originally wanted Kosei Racing K1, but they were not available in Australia. Liked the Hamann, but found out from Hamann Germany that they are 11kg!!! Wanted the white OZ Superleggera but importer tells me it's only available in the US of A. Arrggghhh!!! Maybe one of you American want to volunteer to bring it down to me on your next trip? Shipping at US$250 is just too expensive. Any suggestions what other wheels I can get that is light but not too expensive? Forget wheels like Volks or Work as I cannot afford them!!!

Very good!!! You will be able to help me answer a few questions. What is the built month of the car? More specifically, do our cars come with glovebox, revised seat mechanism and parcel shelf grille???

Congratulations!
Which dealer did you get it from?
Presumably it's Electric Blue with all the usual pre-spec trimmings...?

Cooper S, Jet Black w/ white roof, silver 16" X-Lite wheels, DSC, MFSW, dark tinted windows

...It's here & I love it!

Well done guys! Im trying to hold myself together, I got offered the very first Pre Spec car from my dealer ages ago, but knocked it back for my own spec. They have delivered 3 already! I could have been cruising in June!

Hang in there Spazz
Hang in there Spazz
Han..........

Seriously guys, enjoy. I saw a pre spec on the road on the weekend, and the smile on the guys face said it all!

WAY, I think Krisho may not come back to tell us, he's probably having too much of a good time, but you: you will tell us everything won't you?

Do we get a glovebox?
Do we get a parcel shelf grille?
Does it go like the clappers?
Are you sorry you got rid of the TT?
Are there any rattles?
Can I have a drive?

We all hope that your day was special, and that you take a short break to fill us in.

Regards, ElTel

Thanks mate, yea It's ok, early days.......

The worst thing is little time for MINI2 at the moment....NOT GOOD !!!

(Wonder if it's too late to add back the MFSW, doing 200km a day now...so cruise would be useful...... )

Good. Starting a new job is always weird - always gets better, yes?
