Now or Never Options Help!

Hi, I have my new Cooper S on order for delivery March 1st and have been told I have about 1 more week to change the spec to guarantee the changes happening in time for delivery.

My current spec is;
DSW
Chili
White bonnet stripes
Web spoke wheels
Chrome line interior
Darkened glass
Chrome wing mirrors
Climate control

I would really appreciate some advice on the following extras as I don't want to miss out on getting them and regret it later.

Full Leather
MFSW

Any ideas?

I'd get both of these for sure, also have you thought about heated seats?

I would avoid full leather. In my (and others) experience it does not wear very well; the pseudo-leather or the cloth are better for wear and less expensive.
I would choose the MFSW - assuming you plan to listen to music regularly; easy reach to the volume control is nice.
And yes yes yes to heated seats

Yeh,, heated seats are a good one too,,,
But you want them all,,, so does everyone,,, How difficult is it to spec a car!
And how spoilt does that seem to make me sound! hehe!

My 05 MCS leather is wearing really well, was yours a recent one?

Yeah I looked at leather when I ordered and saw a couple of pretty baggy examples which put me off. but that could just have been how they were looked after?
Also I think leather gives more of a luxury feel to a car and it smells good too, but looks cheap when it gets worn.

Most of the ones I have seen have been saggy too.

I'd go for half-leather, you dont get saggy seats and you get a bit of the leathery smell!

MFSW is a must. Changed my head unit and interface and it works with my Alpine, easy to get rid of those pesky traffic reports from far off counties!!

I would deffo go for the MFSW having had a MINI without and now with it really is a useful bit of kit.
Leather is great for resale but I'd go heated too with that !
The H/K system is knock-out and love it - a huge improvement on the standard system.
I'd go DS/B too....

STOP! Has anyone recently purchased an MCS with leather? Recently! It's no good slating it if it's been updated/improved.

Chili pack - half-leather - then you won't need to waste money on the seat heating.

MFSW - I have one but it isn't fitted yet...

In terms of improving the driving experience, fit the Works suspension. It ought to cost about the same as leather...
