Better add my name to this list I'm an expectant checkmate dad Mine is due in about a week I sold my IB/W 03/03 MCS at the start of last week and all I can say is god these withdrawal symptoms are bad!

I'll try to remember to post up some pictures when I get hold of it – if all the excitement doesn’t result in short term memory loss

I'm 650 miles and 2 weeks tomorrow in and can't stop driving mine.

I am sure you will be a happy dad with a baby checkmate, pics are a must when you get her. Hopefully will be getting more taken soon :-)

Not sure how our standard Checkmate specs in Australia compare with everyone else’s but standard Aussie checkmate features, over and above the standard MCS stuff, include:

Space Blue with Silver Roof
Xenon’s
Sunroof
Auto wipers/headlights
17" flame spoke alloys
Limited Slip Diff
Space blue dash
Anthracite headliner
Three spoke multi-function steering wheel (in black because I got the Recaro's)
Chrono pack

Other options I'm getting are

Recaro seats in Black/grey with heating
JCW Brake kit
Dynamic Stability Control
Centre armrest

Because of a listing error on the Mini Australia web site, I won't be getting the climate control that I thought was standard but as a gesture of goodwill, I'm getting $650 off the price (what the climate would otherwise have cost) and the Mini branded Samsonite luggage

Picked up my Checkmate last sunday - Yeah!
Unfortunately the factory forgot to put on the bonnet stripe and the silver scoop, so have to get that on in 2 weeks. There's a couple of pics in my gallery - hope it works.
