MCS works or equivalent upgrade

We have a 02 MCS & are considering a works or similar upgrade (200+ bhp & any recommended supporting mods).
What upgrades are considered the best to go for, and what sort of price are we looking at?

I'd go for brakes before you go for power as they are the weekest point on the car
