I know only 415 cars are coming to the US
How hard is it to get one or do all the dealers have waiting lists already?

Call around. Most dealers have waiting lists, but you may get an obscure one that doesn't

I would think that 415 cars would go pretty quick between all the dealers combined

I am on a list out here in CA, and they called me this wk-end, telling me there would be a $5995 D.M.U. on the car, plus full sticker. I tried several other dealers around the country, and all of them seem to be allocated already. Yikes!! Looks like this one is going to be HOT!! 8^) I'm still on the list, but........ By the time you pay tax and license, etc., at that rate it's over $41K . On the upside, I can't believe how good the resale value is on my current MINI. I have all the trick stuff on it, and it keeps looking better and better compared to what I'll have to give for the new one! They're going to want a deposit pretty quick. Guess I'll put mine in the AutoTrader and see what happens!! Dakota
