Hi all... just picked up Cooper S

Hi all,

Just picked up an '03 Cooper S (32k miles) for my wife yesterday..so thought I'd log on and say hello.

She has a Cooper until a few weeks ago but we sold it as she wanted a bit more power...

Spec:

Black Cooper S
Chilli Pack
Visibility Pack (Xenon headlights I know...but anything else?)
Panoramic Roof
Auto Air Con
Sat Nav
Harman Kardon upgrade
Clear rear lights

All I had time to do when I got back from the garage (before we went round the in-laws to show it off!)...was to give it a quick wash (Meguiars NXT Wash), Megs NXT wax, and P21S Carnauba Wax..

I'll give it the full treatment later (clean paint, clay, remove minor scratches, re polish and wax etc)..when I've got some time.

Initial mods planned:

• Viper Stripes
• Spotlights
• Remove reflectors off the back bumper

I've added a few pics to a new album, but cant get them to appear here (some error about "You are only allowed to post URLs to other sites after you have made 5 posts or more" - I'm only trying to link to the pics on this site ??)

I've got a few questions to ask but will post separately....

btw, visibilty pack has nothing to do with headlights. it means you have a heated front screen, auto dimming rear view mirror and auto wipers

The actual advert on the car stated it also had PDC and Heated Seats... but they weren't actually there when I saw the car . Cant have everything eh - that's what I told the missus (it's her car...) but she didnt see it that way!

Mmmm, why aren't I out driving? .... well 1) because it's the wife's car, and she's gone out in it with our daughter (car crazy 4 year old) !!, and 2) my wife's expecting a newly painted dining room when she comes back this afternoon... which kind-of hasn't happened yet - mostly done thought....
