It was acceptable in the 80's

I wished he didnt say 'again' at the end of the video. I played it 7 times before I broke the spell....

Good stuff, but not good enough to use as shift lights. You need something a lot more noticeable to your peripheral vision, or you may as well just be looking at your rev counter....

When will someone come up with a decent, portable Head Up Display generator, like that fitted to the M5/M6 - now that would be cool....

I certainly would buy a HUD shiftlight from mike, or even a more stylish one than the JCW.

Looks good, anyone has this one?

Can it be wired into the MINI rpm signal?
Can the plasmaglow characters be cleared or even changed into your own sig?
Orange for night and white for day use?
How big is it on the dash, does it fit behind the rpm gauge?

May be I'll send them an e-mail

I e-mailed the company but they told me to contact the manufacturer directly with my questions. I didn't because I also heared that you have to stick some kind of foil to your windscreen to make the HUD visible. I just orderded the Datatool revlight and I'm gonna mount that above the speedomoter the coming week. I will post a DIY f I succeed. Wish me luck

What about the home made shift light which is the topic of this thread? Is it hard to make?
