Pics needed of white/silver viper stripes on Black MCS

Anyone got some pics of a black Cooper S with White or Silver viper stripes...

We're going to get some on our S, but as it has silver mirror covers my wife's leaning towards Silver viper stripes, whereas I prefer White.

I've got some silver ones on my BEP Cooper S, see pic, I know its not black but will give you an idea of what they look like.

I have just had silver vipers fitted to my wife's black mcs (this saturday). They look absolutely awesome. Car has sunroof and has stripe running across the glass. Also stripe is on painted front grille (looks brilliant). Car also has silver mirrors.

Go with silver, you won't regret it

One word of caution....be careful who you let loose on your car and try and view their work before hand. I had one set fitted via a bmw dealers removed because they had been fitted so poorly. My mate in the bodyshop trade offered to have a go at them and gave up after the rear bumper..!!

By chance I bumped into someone who had their car done recently, and I asked who had done it. The standard of finish was miles above anyhting else I had seen.

The guy avoids cutting the stripes on the car, wherever possible. He is a windscreen fitter (honestly) who does stripe work for a couple of bmw dealers. As such he strips all the trim off the car....windscreen trim, rear glass trim, rear brake light, air vent grilles, intercooler air scoop, windscreen wiper, front and rear number plates. He heat forms stripes into al the curves and radius curves any exposed finished edges. It looks like a factory job and I am soooooo pleased to find someone (finally) that takes a real pride in their work.

If anyone needs stripes fitted in the herts/middx area, let me know and I will give you his number.

Excellent - can you PM me their details please (and how about posting some pics of your wife's car?).

He charged me £140 plus the vat for fitting. But the rear hatch and one side of the rear bumper had been done already ! I think he charges £180 plus vat for the full job, plus the stripes (£99inc vat from mini). Just over £300 for the whole job...

Thats not a bad price, compare to the £630 the local mini dealer quoted me this week!

I've got silver GT2 stripes on my bonnet, roof (with sunroof) and bootlid. On the sunroof, the inner stripes run along the outer edges of the glass roof on both sides, and the stripes are cut and shaped where the sunroof opens and where the glass-to-metal seams are. Very neat! Plus, the stripes on the glass can't be seen from the inside since they are on on the edges where the glass is opaque.

as yours looks just like mine.. apart from the grille.. but this saves me thinking what it will look like



if your having vipers tho... get them to carry them into the scoop not to cut around it
