UK newbie looking for a JCW S

Hello
I've been reading the forums for a few weeks now, trying to learn the ins and out of the cooper s.

Popped into my local dealer (yeovil westerly) on the weekend and test drove an 03 Cooper S, and then a Checkmate Cooper s JCW. Both cars were amazing, the supercharger is fantastic I currently drive a Clio 182 Trophy and I just fell in love with everything about the Mini. Orginally I didn't like the look of them and thought they'd be a bit cramped. Inside there no smaller then the clio but 100x nicer I've been scouting Auto Trader and Pistonheads for a used 03/04 model and have only found 2-3 that fit the bill.
One of which has the union jack on the roof, which personally i'd prefer a plain one. Do the vinyl tops come off easy or is it a dealer job?

Thanks again

(soon to be jcw owner....hopefully)

for another 1500 quid you could have a face lift version with the new gear ratios and a massive spec

what by £1500??

Its worth it alone for the improved gearbox, the better interior trim with less rattles, never mind the fact that you are getting the brakes and strut brace for that price
