| There were changes after July 04 build date - dealers were told NOT to fit the old JCW kit to MCSs built after July 04 but to wait for the new JCW kit which I think was a few months late - but who knows what goes through the minds of BMW dealerships? However, there was an upgrade made available for 200bhp JCW owners to get the extra 10bhp. So if the JCW you're looking at is built after July '04 you should be getting 210bhp. If it was built/converted before this you might get 200 or 210, but you can get it upgraded for a few hundred pounds by BMW. I think if you know what to look for, you can tell which it is by the air intake. The new air intake has a flap at the rear which opens around 4krpm. Anyway, now you know, you can ask the right questions. ps Forgot to say. If it's a genuine JCW it will have a certificate of authenticity with it - not JUST a pair of badges! ![]() |
