To de-badge, or not to de-badge...

Part of me wants to show the world I've got a JCW MCS because quite frankly I'm proud of it (and so I should be after spending all that money!!), and also you don't see many up here, I've NEVER seen one (just the one I test-drove).

But, part of me also wants the stealth look, totally debadging the boot, and removing the front JCW badge.

Help me decide guys. If I did keep the badges, my "S"'s would be in matt white, like this pic to make them look a bit different. Will look good against black I think.

seeing as you have a JCW number plate you might as well leave the badges on there

you can always take them off later if you want

oh and I'm not far from Leeds, so there are a few of us JCW's up here

I took the badge off my One - not because I wanted to hide the fact it was a One, but because I wanted the "clean" look. After I'd done it, it struck me that the rear end of the MINI looks a bit bare with no badges!

So, I'll be leaving both the Cooper S and JCW badges on my Works I reckon!

Consider yourself told Mark.

I do like the stealth idea - especially considering the exhaust and brakes will still be badged - but considering the JCW package is still pretty exclusive (and considering what it's costing you), I think it's nice to leave them on...

I paid over $60K for my MINI!!.

Looks (fairly) unanimous then But I have paid a lot of money for this car, so would be a bit daft to take off the badges I think. After all, JCW have a lot of heritage, and a good association with the car. It's not like it says "2.5turbo" or whatever.

They shall be staying Appreciate the opinions of those who have chosen stealth though - it would look clean, but I'm proud of my car so a couple of discreet badges aren't a problem I don't think. Plus it means I can have my S's in white
