Are you sure it is rubber and not your brakes - your brakes will smell after spirited driving!

How where you handling the Clutch?

I have experienced this in the past. Of a weird strong Rubber smell. It was right after I had gone up a steep parking garage. Anyway you could have been riding your clutch and burning it. Remember, Clutch In or Out, Never in between!

Reduce the number of handbrake turns you are doing?

Cease coming to a stop using the handbrake?

Some say he loves gaming and that he also loves house work..... All we know is, he's called The ScottyB!

Well I'm having a similar situation and it's actually feel like the e-brake is still up when pulling off.. I can't think of anything that would cause this, it also giving off that rubber burning smell. After I've drove about half a mile coming to a complete stop and pulling off again it doesn't do it. What could this be?
