Discount on 2nd hand mini's/thrown in accessories

I have put a holding deposit on a MCS 04 plate that is coming into a Mini garage on Monday.

Basically, can I expect to get anything knocked off the 13,495 price, it has done 16,000 miles.

An alternative is that I would like to add the front spot lights and drivers armrest if it hasnt already got them which I dont think it has. Now the price of these combined is about £250 plus labour, however as I am buying car from them I was hoping the labour content wouldnt matter too much......

Do you think if I paid the price it is up for they would supply and fit the two for free?

Just trying to guage what I should push for.

PS I am buying in cash with no part ex or anything so straight forwards sale.

thanks smartbomb......

So I take it from that I wont be likely to get either of those thrown in......

Can I expect to knock anything off the price, especially with the new model coming out soon?

Very unlikely to be honest, even with the new model coming out it's still a very wanted car

I have recently negotiated a very good deal with my trade in.....my motto is "if you don't ask you won't get" so just keep on asking and asking I got about £500 knocked off the original price, and lots of other stuff that I am very pleased with myself about!

They can only say "no"!!

If you work for a large company ask if you get a discount because lots of companies use BMW for various things and get like a 3% discount if you work for them which isnt much but could pay for the extras you wanted.

I am considering part exing my current car, or I may sell it privately.... any ideas on how much I would get for it from mini as part ex

Its a W plate MK4 Golf, Gt tdi, 80k, private sale value is £5750 and trade in is 5050 both according to parkers......

Do you think I would get £5k for it in part ex? I would be happy with that.

Mini is up at £13495, so is a cost to change of £8495 achievable?

Thanks in advance
