Any Aussies know whether you can rent a Cooper S for a weekend??

Want to go driving for a weekend cause the wait is killing me. Not that i have any choice cause i have to have one, no other car compares in my eyes... So if anyone knows of a place, any state is fine , let me know thanks

Not that Ive seen. Did try to pay my dealer for a saturday evening till monday morning, but no luck. I had another day drive a few weeks ago, and that has only just kept me going until the real deal gets delivered in 2 weeks.

Try calling EuropeCar, they'd be your best bet, even if its a Cooper, Im sure it will help the wait!

Atlas in Melbourne are doing Coopers for about $250 a weekend.

Don't think you'll see a CS up for rent for quite a while. Too hard to replace if it gets trashed.

Also went down to see my dealer today, my car is about to hit production Yeeeesssssssssssssss!!!!
He also said i could come down and have another test drive if i wanted

Sports Car Rentals would be the only place in Sydney that I could think of... Just get friendly with your dealer - I've had multiple drives since my order

If you are serious, I am down on the Thursday evening of the 12th and go back Sunday evening of the 15th. Due to it being 3 whole days (Thursday night till Sunday night), will give you $600 and will treat it with kid gloves....

Geez, wasn't serious when I posted it, but with an offer like that it is hard to refuse, especially with the stock market tanking the way they are. I will have to seriously think about this now. Maybe I can use that $600 towards the JCW kit. Heheheh.

It would be worth it for me except that i would hate to park your S and have someone scratch it on my watch... would have to keep it in sight 24hrs a day and i think the trip would suffer .... will just have to wait till Oct..

Don't want to rub it in too much but I have managed to get a Cooper S from 4 pm tomorrow till Monday morning free of charge from my dealer (just needed to insure it which was free as well)

I love my Cooper so far but Im really looking forward to getting in the S
