Should compressor etc be standard?

I took delivery of a 2004 Cooper S from a BMW dealer last week. Today I'm having a look around it and can't find the compressor, emergency tyre inflators, or warning triangle. Are these items standard on that model/age?
Also, it's a left hand drive in France, and the handbook is naturally in French. I can download the French handbook from the French Mini site, but can't find an English one for download. Anybody seen one for download, or do I need to order one.

Thanks in advance for any help,
NurseJAG

You probably have runflat tyres fitted...............if so, you don't need or get the compressor etc.
Enjoy your new 'S'.

Thanks MiniVee and MiniMpi for your replies.
I now realise that I don't need the compressor with runflats.
I have also managed to buy a UK 'book pack' for the MCS on Ebay.

Thanks again, and I look forward to enjoying my MCS and these forums...
