EB/W with checkered roof pics?

I've searched in the gallery, but haven't found any pics of an Electric Blue/White MCS with the checkered roof decal. Does anyone have any they can post, or maybe a photoshop whiz can doctor one up?

Or is this one of those color combos that would be "minging"?

Excellent grasp of colloquiolisms, Chip!

Just to further the discussion, the English version is "Ming-Ging" with the ging pronounced with a hard first G like gong. It's also quite a lilting definite 2 syllable word.

In Scotland, though, we shorten it down to "mingin'" The "ing" is shortened to "in" and the whole word is pronounced as short as possible!

As for checker board roof, would you not end up with white caps on the mirrors and possibly white weels, with black bits on the roof?

I sit humbly at the feet of the master.

Yes, I'd still have the white mirrors, but I'm going with the silver wheels (brake dust concerns, and we're in water restrictions in my area, so I can't wash as often). The idea is that the black checkers on the roof would match the black sills and arches. But I can't quite mentally picture it, so that's why I'm asking for photos or a photoshop of one.

There was an article in The Scotsman Newspaper yesterday about the 1,784 water violation fines handed out by the folks in Denver...70% of them for grass watering and 80% of those written between the hours of 3am and 6am!! Can you imagine! We've had about 3 inches of rain in August already!

Anyway - here's the best I can do in Photoshop...

Seen One!

I've seen one in the car showroom. It looked very nice, particularly with bonnet stripes. No good with a sunroof though.

MCS1 -

Thanks for the pic - not bad looking at all! I'm leaning toward it more & more.

Raleigh isn't doing too bad for water - 150+ day supply. Nearby towns, however, are under 30 day supply. Some are using fire engines to transfer water from other towns. If the people in Prague want to send us their floodwaters, we'll take them!

I'm skipping the sunroof, so that's not a problem. I'm not a big fan of the bonnet stripes, though. Main reason for getting the checked roof is to disguise the plugs for the roof rack (for when it isn't mounted).
