Has my TLC expired ?

Hi folks, I'm sitting here worrying about my TLC. I bought my MCS in 03 and have only used one TLC voucher so far - my mileage is only approx 17k. The car is obviously out of warranty but what about my TLC ?.

Your TLC runs to 50,000 miles or 5 years which ever comes first. Your case probably 5 years will come first! Ring your dealer to set your mind at rest. I'm sure it should have had more than 1 service in 3 years. What about your first oil change?

I think it could well have. I can't check at the moment but think it is 3 years or x0,000 miles - whichever is sooner.

Sorry, ignore - posted same time as Laura.

Bought my MCS in the same year and wondered also if the TLC vouchers are still valid. Got about 9600 miles before the next service and about the same mileage as yourself. I have checked the TLC vouchers and there isn't an expiry date and I think providing you stick to the manufacturers service schedule it should be fine.

I would think that the oil would be changed at least once a year if you don't get to the change interval. If you have not done this, you need to get it done quickly.

Really?

Maybe thats because 50,000 miles is an estimate then? My 10,000 miles service happened at 8,500 miles because my MINI told me it was ready for it. Something to do with how I drove it I suppose. I think my 25,000 miles happened at 22k roughly. Maybe your 42k was your 50,000 according to your MINI?
