Over a week!?

I had the passenger side loom and seat-belt tensioners replaced in January. Only took a couple of hours.

I take it this isn't costing you anything?

Give them a chance to fix it and give it back, then go from there. Usually this is down to a connector under the passenger seat, I guess not in every case, and including yours by the sound of it!

Not paying a bean for it its just doesn't give me faith in the reliability in the car i've been there before where a car is in the garage more than its been driven!!! don't want to go back to that.

The MINI electricals are not Lucas.
My guess, when they get this sorted it will be sorted, not an indication of 100 other problems.

i know the feeling when i piocked mine up i had to turn round take it back due to fan temp sensor and loom, and then a month later and the power steering packs up, then last week the passenger sit fecks up and now won't budge position, and where i hit it so much out of frustration to get it to budge ( as we were 100 miles from home and had 3 passengers) the stowage net is now loose. Most things i have had go wrong with a car in 10 years and 11 cars, however i still love it,

although i know that feeling you have, as i nearly tried to give mine back when it went wrong that first day. in hindsight i do wish i had bought a Cherished Mini, as the warranty would be handy as i need to sort this seat out. but i may trade in for a newer one come summer, not sure yet, money is a bit better at moment will see,
