bought this strut brace shown in the pic off ebay, i thought it looked a little cheap but couldnt resist incase i got a bargain, from what ive been reading i need some new bolts, glad i saw that earlier nearly fitted it when it came today. as i right on this?
also what you do you all reckon to the brace, is it a cheap piece of mas produced rubish that will proabably break and ruin my car or should i fit it, opinions please....
been watching jcw exhaust trims for ages for when i finally get round to modding my exhaust for them to fit cause i dont want to have any warranty issues, but now im ready cant find any... any body got any or know anyone where i can get two trims and a good price..
I've got the JCW brace, it does improve the car, but its not as good as the GTT brace, the JCW is more for looks than function
As for exhaust tips, they are not a straight swap on the standard MCS exhaust, speak to Damo, he gave up in the end and sold them on instead of modifying them to fit
Hi ,I cant help you on the JCW tips but the new GTT Slash Cut Tips (to fit stock exhaust) will be available in around 2-3 weeks. They look similar (better finished ) to the JCW ones. Shouldnt be any warranty issue as the tips dont effect anything .
Best Regards Roland GTT
As Rakey says this will be more for looks than function. Certainly not a patch on the GTT Aerobox brace. If funds are tight I would just get the lower two braces ( OMP front £45 and GTT Mid £85 ) and be amazed at the increase in front end grip and overall balance.
In answer to your question: Because it will do nothing, other than clutter the engine bay up and someone may pay some cash for it, which can then be put to good use
