| First Roadtrip = bug suicide! Just got back from a six hour round trip from Tacoma to Portland. Yes, Portland traffic sux!! should have been 5 hours of driving. Anyways, the S front end and windshield (windscreen for those who speak English and not American) looks like a bug graveyard. Big bugs too!!  They even found the spots where the washers cannot get to. What a mess! Got to go clean it now. Or as soon as I can pry the keys out of my wife's hands.  BTW, averaged 68MPH, cruised at 80 MPH with AC on at 70F while being 80F outside. Got 30 MPH by the pump and 32MPH by the computer. Not bad at all! I am happy with that! | Welcome to the joys of an upright windshield. Try driving my VW Bus! That thing gets totally and completely covered with dead bugs all over the vertical nose panel and windshield. |
