Owned 2 Minis. Had Adventures. The End.

Well i started my MINI journey here, and i guess i shall i end it here too!

Today i have sold my lovely Cooper S back to the dealer. Why? Well it seems the list gets bigger and my wallet smaller, with this flipping government

1. Im moving out and cant wait, and dont need a car.
2. £1 a litre is crazy! Talk about eating my hard earned cash!
3. Tax is due and came at £205 for 12 months! Even more crazy!
4. Servicing & MOT due soon - possibly just the MOT Fee
5. New Tyres soon - Around £300 to fork out.

And then factor in depreciation, and my monthly payments!Well its just not logical to keep my poor mini anymore !

So thanks to all MINI2'ers that i have spoken to over the years of fun!

Heres to no MINI... but having money times!

Awww thats a shame Envy but I had the same thinking in 2006. Shawn was becoming a student and we couldn't afford all our bills on one pay cheque, so the One had to go. MINI-less for 1 year then back in the driving seat of a MCS and it feels so good!

I completely understand where your coming from envy especially getting on the property ladder! Most important move that you could make. My parents respected my grown up approach though they knew how much I loved that car but my responsibilities come first!

Yeah £1 a litre is crazy, I know the feeling what with running an S also, my next car will be Desiel, whether it MINI or whatever...

I can understand where your coming from its killing me but its worth it.

But I don't no if I could sell my S haven't found another car like it apart from a GP.
