Hi Guys,

Just wanted to know how much my car is really worth and wether or not i had a good buy? The spec is as follows:

2003 Cooper S
Silver
80,000
1 Previous lady owner
Full BMW Service history
4 brand new tyres
6 months mot and 6 months tax
JCW Exhaust
4 spotlights.
Chilli pack.

£5500 ono.

The R53 is harder to sell these days due to the rubbish MPG and Higher Road tax

Thats what i was thinking the 5500 mark

. Yeah the road tax is way too expensive!

I can do about 28 MPG around town.

I think you would be doing well at this level and as a private sale more like £4500 to £4750 assuming good condition. If condition is not tip top then nearer to £4,000. Its easy to find over priced cars but much harder to cut through to what is actually selling.
