I've got 3000 miles on the clock. 2800 were done in the five days after purchase, driving the car home from Baton Rouge LA. to Seattle. My only issue is gas mileage. I'm getting 31-32 on the freeway, 21-22 in town. A bit low, yes.

Actually, your mileage sounds right in line with the sticker. As I read in another thread recently, the MINI was not designed as a high gas mileage car, the fact that it gets good mileage is a happy byproduct.

I have just over 200 miles on my CVT cooper now, just bought my first tank of gas. It looks like I got 19 MPG thus far. The computer says I am now averaging about 21. All city driving (even the back roads around here are city driving, what can I say. A trip to the real back country may come this weekend.) The computed average has been climbing steadily thus far. I suspect it will settle in after the run-in period.

2003 MCS, ~1400 miles so far, no problems!

Getting about 29mpg on my mostly-highway commute...

I think elmadi meant to ask how many miles have you done with the car and have you had any problems so far. Not how many MPG you get.

2200 miles and a host of problems for me.

1,200 miles & had to goto the dealer to get a rear side indicator light fixed. From the sounds of it, they even had a hard time getting it fixed (it was their first one). Only problem with it.
