I Think My MINI Is Trying To Tell Me Something

Lately, I have been having my 2005 MCSa making a single ding and then the external temperature (always 37 degrees) flashes 5 or 6 times. Was wondering if this was a code or something.

It's kindly trying to tell you that it is near freezing and to be careful of ice. If only you'd listen. :-)

Yep - I had the exact same question about a week ago :-)

As @Bmont82 points out - it's to tell you it's near freezing outside so maybe ice on the roads.

Ah, okay that's cool. Was hoping that it wasn't something else that was wrong with the MINI. Thanks for the replies.
