I don't know... it's a Renaultsport 182 Trophy - definitely the best French hot hatch I've ever driven!

Thanks for comments and has a full system and alta induction kit and yeah love the wheels pal and will be having 17% pulley and intercooler next month will keep you all up to date with pictures and yess i agree needs lowering and yepp its the trophy number 21 out off 500 its my brothers running 200bhp its defo a fast hot hatch and that scoob is my other bros 400bhp so atm am the youngest bro with my little mini but hopefully get the mini to 230-250bhp

To be fair, I misread your post - I thought you were bagging it because it was a Clio, but on reading it again I see your point about how close it was parked!

They are cracking cars though - I was a whisker away from buying one a few years ago but ended up with a Fiesta ST instead, d'oh - what a mistake that was!

Lmao yeah big mistake would take the mini and the clio over the st any day pal my mates got a st and its not got oat on my mini or the clio but ino not all about speed but says it all when even he said to me he would prefere a mini or clio

Aye! I kinda got lumbered with the ST if I'm honest... I'd sold my second MINI, a 2005 JCW, for a nearly new Smart Roadster Coupe Brabus Xclusive, which was plenty of fun despite all the trouble I had with it (discussed briefly in this thread)... then some moron ran a red light on me and wrote it off.

Long story short, I needed a replacement pronto and ended up with an 18-month old ST for sensible money. Suffice to say, over the next 12 months, it needed a new engine, new clutch, new gearbox... not to mention countless other piddly things. It absolutely ate front tyres too, despite my best efforts, and performance was sadly lacking considering the 2.0-litre engine... insanely cheap to insure though!

Ended up trading it in for an R56 JCW... never looked back! Considered a Focus RS since but the experience with Ford - both build quality, and service from the local dealer - had put me right off. Think I'll stick with MINI and BMW for the foreseeable!

Lmao its alryt i test drove the r56 jcw a day before tested mine but one i love the superchargers and 2 i was 19 at the time and couldnt get insured for **** so went for the supercharger and fell in love straight away as wasnt standard had the nice kit and recaro full leather and all trick bits.... I know a fella with the focus rs and tbh i wasnt impressed upto 100 especially for all the hype they got and around islands it was awfull but may have been the driver but my mini would of been with it round the island and off it its just then after

About lowering the car, I wouldn't go too low. I'm finding it hard to get over slight speed humps without scraping the plastic on the ground. I think its mainly due to the mini has a shorter wheel base than normal, but that's just imo really

And yeah hes on most forums think he's. (Simuk300) got it in fast car aswell and redline and few others quite well nown in the scooby scene
