Intercooler!

Hi there on my R53 cooper s I noticed there are a few of damaged fins that have just bent. Does this cause any issue? or will it not be noticed. I mean there is only about 4/5 that are bent.

Also at the top part of the intercooler there are a fair amount of stones etc. Will this cause a power loss? can I just get the vaccum on it and stuck all the stones out?

thanks

Doubt you'll notice any difference, you could clean it, I bet a vacuum cleaner wont suck the bits of grit out though they will be firmly stuck in.
Radiators get similar things in them and insects and provided theyre not leaking water it generally makes no difference to those either.

Ok, good to hear. I got the car Friday, just done 35k miles so still working my way and learning. Just noticed these couple of things today. Doesn't lake in power at all.
