Injector noise ?

Hello I'm new to the mini world I just bought a 2005 mini with 54000 miles s type 6 speed . I'm hearing I ticking noise is there such thing as injector noise or valve noise ? Could somebody post a video of a motor running that there's nothing wrong with so I can compare

If it's running smooth and able to go down the road, the noise is probably both valves and injectors. If you obtain a stehescope you can hear them alone and find the noise. The timing chain tensioners and the waterpump and supercharger can be noisy too. If you hear a whinning noise as you turn the steering wheel that will be the electric power steering pump. If you hear a rattle noise as you wind up and shift it can be the clutch. Small car not much room, you hear it all.

thank you for your advise is there such thing as flywheel clatter

If flywheel bolts are loose. Cooper Ss do have a throw-out bearing rattle that was irritating to the journalists when MINI S first came out. But since it is a known sound everyone overrides it. Pressure plates can rattle when springs get overheated, but rare. The bearing rattle is usually on acceleration and upshifts.
