Dodgy R53 Cooper S for sale on eBay?

Just thought I'd post something I've just seen on eBay.

I could be wrong, but I think there's something dodgy about this Electric Blue R53 for sale.

The first thing that got my attention was the fact it's a pre facelift car, so 2004 or older, and only with 10k on it. I was potentially interested in the car so sent a message to the seller asking what the mileage was (in case of typo - i.e. 100k instead of 10k) as well as asking if it was HPI clear. This was my reply:

"bought the car cash no hpi.
milage 10123 been well maintained."

Just seems a rather strange reply that's all. Also the description of the car in the advert seems a little strange and doesn't give much info.

Once again, could be wrong, just wanted to give my view on it!

If your interest you can do your own hpi check for around £7, well worth it whenever buying cars even for peace if mind.
You've not mentioned how much it is advertised but the 10k miles could be legitimate, or correct for the engine if it has been replaced or could be false like my last mini was! (Out by 75k + miles )
Hpi check and if your still interested get over and check it out :-) never buy without looking at it, especially on eBay.
