2005 mcs full swap...tree fell on car

Hello everyone. My ex is a member of this site, so I know you guys are awesome, but I had to start my own for obvious reasons. Hope we all got lucky on valentines day.

So during the last big storm, a small tree fell on my baby girl. 2005 mcs. Apparently the roof is bad enough to where it is not repairable. the only problem is everything else is good. I love my mini and I was told by someone I should just buy a older high mileage cooper and swap everything over. The cpu's engine and everything. I have everything as a donor car obviously. what are everyones thoughts on this? My car has navigation and everything. If we moved the wiring harness and everything over...literally just keeping the chassis. Does anyone see any bolt on issues...or any problems? Can I use a base model "one" as my Frankenstein? ...thank you in advance everyone..
