DIY Milltek exhaust R52

Hello All,
I have a R52 with a Milltek exhaust cat back at the moment. However I have been toying with the idea of up grading to the Milltek Manifold and Cat. But Milltek state that you need a Stage 2 ECU re-map once you install their manifold.

My question is what is involded with a stage 2 ECU re-map?

Can you buy a plug in unit to give you a stage 2 ECU re-map?

Any info would be great and much appriecated.
