Dash colo(u)r questions

The color scheme for the dash & doors seems a bit odd to me...
If you have silver, you get everything in silver.
If you have anthracite, you get everything in anthracite.
If you have "brushed alloy", you get the dash and door openings in alloy, but the door handles and the console legs are still sliver....

(Unless my car's a mongrel, but I'm sure I've seen it on others too)

Anyone like to guess why..? Anyone know of an aftermarket kit that would correct this with stickers maybe..? What about the carbon dash stick on kit..? Does anyone know if that covers everything..?

I don't like the idea of putting stickers on interior pieces in an attempt to make them "blend" easier. Sounds cheap to me. Sorry =\

No, I agree... I don't plan on putting the carbon kit on - looks too 'boy racer' to me, but isn't it odd that the standard dash on the S doesn't come in all one color..?

I'm sure the door handles are the same colour what ever dash you have. Only the outer rim of the door changes.

No LMB, if you have silver, everything is silver and if you have anthracite, everything is anthracite - speaker grilles, tweeters, door handles.... everything.
It's only in the alloy trim that you get a mix and match. It doesn't bother me too much - it was more idle curiosity as to why they did one thing for two options and something else for the third. Maybe it's because anthracite is the trim in the ONE in Europe.
