Side window problem

When I drop and raise the left side window, I get a smear on the INSIDE of the glass about 4 inches wide running from the top of the window to the bottom, about 4 inches back from the "A" pillar. Anyone else experienced/dealt with this? Any advice?

No, do not have this problem. The problem that occurs on occation is that the windows do not dip when I open the door and then I can not close the door until I lower the windows manually a fraction of an inch. This happens periodically. Will take it up with the dealer later.

You can easily fix this yourself (I think it's even in the owner's manual). Close the door, roll the window up, and then hold the window toggle in the up position for about 5 seconds. This will reset the sensor, and your glass-drop will function normally afterwards. Repeat for other window.

Thanks Chiph

I will give it a go. I can assume you do one window at a time?

Yes, if anything to reduce the power drain of both motors running at the same time.
