Hi

Need help finding a crush washer for the caliper brake line. Took the line off to remove the caliper, and lost one of the washers. Tried a brass one and it leaks. thanks

You shouldn't be re-using these washers in the first place.

Phew, it's a relief to understand what is wanted - I had though the obsessive detailers were now using a dedicated product to wash their brake lines......

Thanks for all the replays. Can someone tell me if you have to bleed the front system if you replace a caliper in the back. The question comes from having a hard time getting the pedal to pump up, even there is no air coming out the back bleeders.

Hi ya

Standard practice is to bleed all points if they need it or not,
DO NOT let the system drain or run the brake reservoir empty, or you will end up with air trapped in your abs pump.
If this happens you will need to connect it up to bmw dis software or inpa and put the abs pump into a service mode to be able to remove the air. Or take a trip to mini or a local place that has software to activate the pump.

Never hearts to give the system a good flush with new clean fluid.

Hope this helps
