DIY r56 features in r53?

hello all!
I recently traded my 08 in for a 06 (love that supercharger) but i kinda miss some of the features the old one had. So i was wondering has or would it be possible to swap out the factory roof switch panel for a 07 roof toggle panel? ad if so could i install it with the multi color ambient light? just wondering since i have the means to do so is it is do able.

feedback of any-kind would be much appreciated.
I'm just bored and want to mod something since i have done all i wanted to do already on the engine.
thanks again!

Only things I've heard of people fitting on 1st Gen MCS from a 2nd Gen MCS are the front brakes and rear trailing arms.

damn, well I will probably end up getting a toggle panel for the ceiling removing the factory overhead stuff and just put it up there install RGB LEDS and other things redo the lining and hopefully not run in to many problems.
