[Mini Martyn]

Hi I am Martyn and I am new to this whole Forum thing, so youll have to bear with me on some things.

In December I Sold me BMW 318ti Sport Compact after only having it 7 months, what a mistake, and put in my order for a Silver MCS.

It is now only 24 days intill i get it!!

All my freinds cant wait as i have been boaring them to tears for the last month and a half.

Once I get it with full window tints I will be posting some photos for you all to drool over!!

If you have any handy hints for me please let me know.

IMHO DS is the most fantastic colour you can choose for your MCS. And I'm totally unbiased 'cause It's not the colour of my DS/... err MCS...

Had a call today from the Edinburgh dealership - the MCS (EB,white, Chilli) that I ordered late December is awaiting me!!! I'm still planning on going up by train 1st March to collect the car (new registration plate, winter out of the way etc).

My grin is from ear to ear, thinking of collecting the car early as I write. The sales guy on the phone told me that as the car was being unloaded from the transporter upon arrival, someone in the showroom was offering to pay over the odds to take it there & then.

Thing is, given the tales I hear in this forum about long lead times, a 6 week wait is quite something! Apparantly the dealership can still offer delivery on orders placed next few days for May/June.

Ordered my Cooper S on 10 June and I'm taking delivery on the 1 March - I'm beginning to think this may be some kind of record

I try to console myself by hoping this means all those early bugs and niggles will be sorted. Right now I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas.

I've been waiting just as long, but only 17 hours to go now, dunno what i'd have done without MINI2 though.

I'm with you all the way on this one. It's 23:45 on 28th Feb and I'm gonna grab 8 hours sleep (hopefully) before I set off for my IB/W MCS tomorrow morning.

..but the reg docs from DVLA arrived in this mornings post before I've even seen the car !!

My new car

Collected it at 9:00 yesterday. It's perfect!
